ToB-Con, fact or fiction?

My company has applied to Chartboost University, and as such I might be in a plane to San Fransisco in a month. Time for a mini-tobcon?

Chances that we actually do get selected are roughly 1/20, but we are far better looking than the competition.

Last time there were 106 applying teams, 6 were selected. 6/106 =~ .05

Of course, I think my company has a higher chance than just that, but I suppose most people applying like to think of it that way. We put quite a bit of time into our application video, I had a documentary maker friend film everything with pretty decent gear, and he did pretty much all of the editing. On top of that, we're exactly the type of team they're looking for. There's always the (big) chance of not getting accepted though, so I try to not get my hopes up too much.

We didn't get selected, too bad. On the bright side, that means our first game will be done more quickly.
