It's not the power supply--computer keeps "revving up"

Postby TheRaven7 » Tue May 25, 2010 5:03 am

My computer is stuck in a rebooting loop when I press the power button. Yesterday I went and bought a new power supply, installed it, and the same thing happened.

I can't find a problem with any of the hardware. I'm currently thinking it's some kind of short in the power button itself. I know of no way to test this and the actual wires are inaccessible.
