Hi, I just got a new 3g modem and apparently any attempts to to post from it result it displaying that my IP address is banned. Any way with helping with this or are your systems so advance they banned me for some future misconduct.

If the IP is banned that means a spammer used it in the past. There's nothing I can do unless you actually, you know, tell me the IP.

Hmm, I'll see if the problem persists and note the IP. It seems I can login now.

Did you read the link to why it's blocked?

Yeah. It's a spam/trojan infected machine apparently. Still, either their servers can break the veil of space time and see into the future... or its a mistake.

It's happened to both me and RAV before:

oh my.. it's the same shit I once had some months ago, remember when i asked for help? In most likeliness, it has nothing to do with you. The last guy who used that dynamic ip given by that isp some hours before you probably was zombie botnet infected and spammed all the interwebs and got detected and banned. When you reconnect your modem for a new ip you should be fine, if it happens repeatedly, look closer for malware.

Yeah, I know there isn't enough IPv4 to go around. What, I didn't know that you don't need admin privileges to delist your IP from the blocked list. However it seems the modem only has only a short list of IPs available because restarting it didn't give me a different IP address.

ISP should be able to help you.
