The Good Old Days

Postby KnightBlade » Fri May 09, 2014 5:30 pm

Dunno why, but I've been feeling nostalgic the last few days towards this game; thinking back to all the games of ToB I played during the years the game was thriving. So nostalgic that I finally made an account here long after this custom game kicked the bucket.

I'm not here hoping for even a tiny bit that there might be a possibility of some sort of a revival. Just felt the coming of nostalgia.

Hi Knight.

I am in a similar boat. It's been probably four years since I played but I was hoping there might be some who still play.

I don't even have the maps, N or O. If I could get my hands on them I might be able to get a few more people to play.

I played a few games of O a few months ago with this Garena group I used to have. That group is pretty dead now but maybe we could also get something going on there.

Worth a shot.

I am even considering getting a hosting bot to host public TOB games to maybe get some more people to hop on wc3. I feel like if its only in-houses set at certain times it's never going to happen. Might need to get some new people into it as well

Just use one of the free host bots. I occasionally try to get some games of either O or N going with pubs. Depending on the time of day I can get full houses (admittedly, it doesn't stay that way that long but not much you can do about that :p). I use EntHosting because the delay on that is way better for me than MMH but you have to sign up for an account.

It's not autohosting, you just log in and host a game whenever you want.

I wouldn't mind seeing another revival again. I was just thinking about this game today, and it made me miss the game and people I used to play with.
