I believe that, in the future, gamers will have the ability play some of their games as a part-time/full-time career.

Although -

Michael Fuchs has been playing MMOs for over 8 years.

I really should have stopped reading there. The poor man must be developmentally delayed by now.

"Along the way to this base, there are towers that your team must destroy. They cannot harm the base until these towers are destroyed"

Bloodmage sais otherwise lolooolo

I like how the article starts with Eul though, yay.

Qua work of art, the work of art cannot be interpreted; there is nothing to interpret; we can only criticize it according to standards, in comparison to other works of art; and for "interpretation" the chief task is the presentation of relevant historical facts which the reader is not assumed to know.

A friend of mine here at the university relayed that line to me, apparently from an interpretation of the poem that suggests the line's funny. It was hilarious when he said it. Had to be there, I guess. And also not have read the poem in a couple years.

...What were we even talking about, again?

Aye http://www.gamespot.com/news/6273160.html?tag=latestheadlines%3Btitle%3B2.

New information from this article:

The filing follows on from a Twitter update posted by Duke Nukem voice actor John St. John, who said last week that he had recently lent his talents to the title. "Had a great time in Seattle last week recording for DotA. The guys at Valve Software are awesome," St. John said in his post, which was captured by UK gaming news site CVG before being deleted.

Man it's been AGES since I posted here (or even played War 3 online). But damn DoTA. Playing SC2, the only maps like that style with hero base attacking/defending and an NPC army controlled by the NPC is fail DoTA in a very fail form more fail than on War 3 :\ I'd play War 3, but seems so few are on it and even fewer playing ToB. So shitty. I hope you guys make SC2 version of ToB with a more War 3 look and feel with the models, camera, UI (I think you can edit the UI with the new map editor), etc. If not, oh well :\
