I've been wondering who the fuck Thel was on my f list. I can probably play as long as the games are hosted at a decent time. Oh, I also suck.

All right, Turk and I can suck together! Mythezza.

Lotsa updates in terms of player roster.

Since this is about as casual as they can come in tournaments, I figured asking you guys to help me establish the rules and guidelines of the gameplay would be beneficial so we could try and find some middle ground on what everyone would think would be the best set-up for the tourney.

I was thinking it would be best to do a rather loose point system, without brackets. Essentially, players set up their own games (anywhere from 3v3s to 6v6s can count). The games should consist of a majority of players participating in the tournament (if not entirely), with a win scoring players 1 point, and a loss causing them to lose a point. As far as allowing a set number of games, is up to you. If there is no limit, it encourages players to play as much as possible.

Of course, the finer points can be discussed, as it's up to you guys, but I felt that this system would encourage the most gameplay.

Every win = 1 point, and are assigned to individual players, that way x people can't stack their team with Ryzel's Inquis. Unless that team is mine, then by all means...

The other solution is to make it way more involved, doing random heroes every time, assigning values to heroes, and then points to individuals based on the hero, blah blah blah.

Since there is 18 of us, that is enough for 3 full teams. Players should be selected randomly to join the team.

A good way to go is to make each team play with each team twice, both once as Allies and the Undead, using the random heroes option (not all random!). In case of a draw, there should be a third game using the all heroes - random heroes option. It has a dose of luck involved, but hey, we are playing just for fun.

The team that beats another one gains 1 point, and the team that has the most points wins. That's it.

If we only did 3 teams, that's not a lot of gameplay. Maybe if we did a lot of teams though, where we constantly shifted around the players. The only difficulty with that is it would take a lot of work to orchestrate it perfectly.

We could have a few sessions, maybe around 3 or 4, with one session taking place in one night. Each session would have three teams and six games. Each team battles the other teams twice, once as allies and once as undead. Every time a player is in a winning team, he gains a point. Every session the teams are randomized again. The player who has the most points at the end of the last session wins the tournament.

Okey-dokey. Added a few more players.

@Titus - This is for O.

@All Players - I'm going to start setting up dates for tournament sessions, if there are certain dates you are unavailable (for instance, I know I won't be available next week at all) or certain days (someone may be unavailable to play on Tuesday-Thursday or something), please let me know.

I think it may be best to set at least one day aside each week for a tournament session and have it be a first come, first serve in terms of playing (So if there's a full house and plus some, you may have to wait one game to get in).

There is not going to be pre-determined teams. We'll make use with randomly assigned teams and between matches, if we're playing with the same people, the teams will be mixed every round. Winners gain a point from playing in order to encourage as much gaming as possible. I would like your thoughts about deducting points from the losers since it discourages playing, but it encourages stacking points to cheat the system.

Even though I won't be here, how does a session on June 18th sound for everyone? Around 8PM EST?
