I remember when people actually played tob when I joined these boards way back when (like 2002 I think?). The clan rivalries were funny.

W/e, remember NRJyzer? He was awesome. That guy was like 45 with two kids and a 9-5 desk job and he still had time to play wc3, participate in clans and these forums. He gave me hope that it was still possible to play games when you have "responsibilities". Wherever you are NRJ, I salute you.

You can still have kids until your dead these days anyway.

That would only be valuable if having children was anywhere on my priority list. At this point, I am too consumed with having as LITTLE familial responsibility as possible.

Also, NRguy still stalks here from time to time. He pops up at random intervals.

We'll have our own 11 year olds by the time we get to play new ToB.

Wow, I started ToB when I was... 12 maybe, 13 may be true. Definitely by freshman year of high school, but possible that it was in 8th grade. 20 years old now junior in college. Thoroughly appreciated every hour I spent on the forum, the game and my clans.

8.25 heroes in, 3.75 to go til alpha. Most of the coding is done, courtesy of Tirion and a few by Maus, but some heroes require more integration/regression work and updating than others.

Sounds quite awesome. I seriously cannot wait to try this out. One can only occupy themselves with other AoSes so long before they just lose the drive to want to play anything.... I'm looking forward to some clutch spells and realistic abilities. BTW where would people be hosting this from?

I want a hero with a bear attack animation. A hero throwing bears. That's pretty badass.

I'm surprised that not many TDs have towers that throw flaming polar bears.
