Most Efficiant Spawning System?

Looking for the most efficient spawning system possible, one with the least lag. I only need the units to spawn as if created around a townhall. Will be 12 players getting 1 unit every few seconds or so, looking for this to be as lag free as possible. No movement or anything required.

Thanks to anyone who may be able to help; been a while since I touched this game, and been even longer since I've been here.

I have a better idea.
It involves automatically spawning dummy units with auras.
