1.24 won't be the end regardless Merlin. There are still other non-Blizzard things to fix. It's just that all the serious problems aren't our fault, and I don't know if it's worth the time to try and find a solution for them. A solution may not exist, and even if it does, it may take so long to find that it's not worth the effort.

1.24 is more or less the end if you aren't adding more content, or fixing the major bugs. I understand that some bugs aren't your fault, but that doesn't change the fact that O is plagued by rampant desyncs, and crippling drops in frame rate. In my opinion, fixing the non-Blizzard bugs isn't worth the effort until you tackle these big ones. Because what's the point if your balanced, and otherwise bug-free game drops people, and makes others unable to play after a while?

Too bad to hear the bad news. Wc3 isn't a good machine after all. Just move TOB to some other machine maybe? Just like HoN, which is DotA, moved to another machine?

Anyway good job for the efforts so far.

what a pleasant surprise it was to randomly pop by the site and see a beta test out. the map is pretty sweet, but i'm pretty disappointed to see heroes like the warlock sitting on the bench :(

are you guys thinking about taking a foray into the sc2 editor?

Nah it's dead. But I still want a platform for creating new characters, and since StarCraft 2 turned out to be such a pile of crap, this is all we've got.

Oh shit, I didn't see this. Nice work getting this out, guys. I'll give it a try tomorrow.

update: Played a 3v3 today with two people who have German WC3 clients, and one who has a Japanese client. The game lasted over an hour with no desyncs.

update 2: Just had a major desync in a 6v6, with people we know using English WC3 clients on both sides of the split. Someone said it was immediately after they used a Litany. Also there may be an N-style desync occurring when you play another map after O, though I haven't seen it personally. I feel like I'm always the one delivering the bad news lately. Sorry, Cass.

update 3: I'll just add that 15 minutes is unusually late for the desyncs we were experiencing. Given the other things I mentioned, it may be unrelated.

update 4: Played a few more games trying to reproduce it. Haven't been able to, and no more desyncs since the one in the replay. Maybe it was one of those "legit" desyncs that WC3 has sometimes.

thanks for the map Cass.
Could you tell me how you make the leaver's hero icon appears right below of the icon above it.
I tried "ALLIANCE_SHARED_ADVANCED_CONTROL", the hero icon appears below of the already existed icon with spaces,leaving spaces for 2 other hero icons.. Somehow in AoS game we would only have one hero per player.
I would like the hero icon appears RIGHT below, without spaces, just like what happens in ToB.
Would be appreciate it if you tell me the trick.

You need advanced shared control like you're already doing. You also need to use "call SetReservedLocalHeroButtons(1)".
