And just as I feared, those talents were real. Bleh.

Treants are boring. I'm sure they'll be useful and all with a 30 second duration (that is if they don't die in 2 seconds) and only a 3 minute cooldown.

I'm personally sick of seeing 'empowered _____' talents way down in the trees. Unless all the new BC gear is going to be littered with tons of +dmg and +healing crap then this is retarded and required no thought. They could think up better than that.

Looks like they actually want moonkins to also punch things in between their PEW PEW spam. I guess it's an upgrade.

Improved leader of the pack taking 3 points is stupid.

Mangle is uh... ok I guess.

Forcing resto druids to sink 5 into empowered rejuv. 20% on both HoTs isnt' too bad actually.

Tree of restoration... ok, so bonus to healing based on spirit and 1/5 less on heals but can only cast HoTs? also, reduced movement speed. I don't understand Blizzards new hard on for healing over time, but whatever.

Cyclone is good but I'm sure people are going to be pissed at druids when they start cycloning things that they're trying to kill. Sort've like banish on mobs.

Lifebloom isn't too bad either, really.

All in all the druid talents were uninspired and didnt' help them find their own niche at all. Meh.

The hard on for HoTs is probably cuz they all stack now.

Well with HoTs stacking, you could havce 4 healers using 4 HoTs on the MT, regen'ing 2k+ a second and reducing the need for flash heal spam and such. Frees the healers up to do something else besides mash a heal button.

Hell, in a 25 man raid, lets just say you have 3 druids and 3 priests. Potentially, if all 3 druids were tree of restoration specced, and all 3 priests were holy specced (I know I know... no priest will be fully holy specced, but this is just for the sake of arguement) Those 3 druids will each have 3 HoTs (rejuv, regrowth and lifeblood. Keep in mind tier 3 druid bonuses make each rejuv tick have a chance to regen mana/energy/rage and each regrowth tick increase max HP)

Just with the 3 druids that's a potential of easily 3-4k healing every few seconds in addition to 2-6 rage every few seconds on the main tank and them basically getting a free flask due to all the regrowth ticks pumping up their max HP. Even if we ignored the tier 3 armor bonuses, that's still a lot of healing potential with just a few classes.

Now throw in those few priests, and they can each add a renew stacking with each of them throwing in a circle of renewal and one prayer of mending in total. You could also throw in the 8 piece trans bonus of those hots stacking if you really wanted to. Who knows what BC bonuses will bring.

That's easily... easily 5-6,000 health being regenned every few seconds. and that's only with a mere combination of 6 priests and druids. You could have more in reality.

I don't know if Blizz is aiming for there being less of an emphasis on healings specs now or what, but maybe raids will actually find room for non healing specced folks now with all this HoT love. Also, imagine pvp with all this stacking. With all the extra stamina and now all this HoT stacking in BC, fights are going to last forever.

Warriors are going to be even more beastly in PvP due to all this added stamina and these HoT changes because they don't lose effectiveness in extended fights.

Also, lacerate is quite a bit different than the old hunter ability. This one is closer to a sunder armor in that it stacks up to 5 times and adds threat generated. A DoT stacked up to 5 times is quite nice for the bear druids.
