Would be very keen to go to the Malestrom, the Naga are one of the most intriguing parts of WoW. Time travel to when Sargaras came to Azeroth and that whole shemuzzal would be fantastic, too.

Pretty adorable.

PS. I don't give a shit about Cataclysm until I've seen Arthas. I've expressed as much to my GM, who assures me we will down Arthas, while the rest of the guild slobbers over Cataclysm. Unlikely, I say.

First space goats, now friggin werewolves.

Southshore destroyed, Astranaar conquered, Auberdine Decimated.

Orgrimmar reforged in steel, Undercity Redesigned.

It's the world of Hordecraft. I'm so giving up and going goblin.

Other than that, this is all pretty interesting. I think I'm going to end up hating Path of the Titans though.

Worgen are there to balance the Belf scales. A lot of the Sephiroths will go Vincent. It's GOOD news for those of us who RP horde-side.

That was basically all I thought while watching the trailer.

Fucking furries.

But I'm willing to give Blizzard the benefit of the doubt and assume that they'll be cool.

It's not the race that's the problem, it's the people who play it.

See: blood elves.

I like em. My only real regret is still space berries. I can not and will not play alliance ever again as long as those assholes run amock. Unless they change the male model.

Come roll horde with me mur. I want to reroll troll druid/herbalist on an RP server, friend of mine is going goblin hunter/engineer... See the stark contrast? It'll be awesome!

Word on the street is Worgen starter area is pretty much awesome. Won't make me play one, however.

Plus, RP-PvP servers > Rp servers. It ain't fun if you can't kill the dirty, traitorous alliance.

I recommend Ravenholdt. The alliance there are so bad that there are whole horde guilds who set up outside ulduar on tuesdays just to gank raid guilds setting up.

Yeah, the game isn't fun when it's balanced. I mean, WoW is too hard when you have a "fair fight".

(PS. Picking a server because it's fun to grief is for pussies.)

For the record I don't grief.

Anyways, friend of mine introduced me to DDO the other day as it's now fre-to-play, and I was struck by one really big eye-opener about the game:

It has puzzles. Jumping puzzles, sliding block puzzles, go-find-switch-A-to-open-door-B puzzles, pipe dream ripoff route-the-power-to-the-door puzzles, minor platforming elements.

I mean, yeah, it's rudimentary at best compared to actual puzzle games, but why is it for some reason I feel so refreshed by finding a game where you ability to progress through a dungeon isn't purely through shoving your sword through the monster's eye sockets? Has this sort of thing REALLY never been done before?

Last time I recall there being any semblance of a real puzzle in an mmo was that invisible bridge in The Deep in Everquest, where you had people sending out pets and such to test where the edges of the mazelike invisible walkway were so the raid didn't fall off and die horribly.

I think Warhammer was trying to channel that with it's recent Tomb King content patch but I have no idea since I haven't played it.
