Release date announced

Postby Jester » Mon Sep 15, 2008 11:07 am

So wrath of the lich kings release date was officially announced today, coming out in november. Is anyone on this forum actually going to be getting the expansion?

I will be getting it with very hopeful expectations and I will probably be disappointed. I'm a blizz fanboi though so I will be getting it no matter what.

If any of yall on the US side are looking for somewhere to play, my guild is in need of new blood badly.

Im looking forward to new content, specifically the 10 man raids. I hate 25 mans as it is.

Nah they seem pretty adament on the forums that the 13th is a solid release date. Also it looks like they are preloading a huge patch (600mb), so they might be adding in the new talents before the expansion like the did pre-BC with patch 2.0.

I'm on Spinebreaker, I guess I can transfer over if you want. I need people to play with, bad.

If my guild for some reason fell apart I would transfer over, but it's pretty much me and a couple RL friends playing at the moment, so the chances of that happening are slim.

If my RL friends don't come back come expansion time, I might be down for transferring a guy or something.

Where did we leave you at anyway Jester? Beta's shaping up, it's fairly rollercoaster but just about every class is crying their eyes out ow, so that's usually a good sign. I'm pretty happy with my Death Knight so far, but it certainly is not for the carpel tunnel prone.

Someone want to tell me why are the talent trees listed diferently in the official site and in, per example, in Wowhead? Take by example the Rogue's Shadow Dance. And if it's being updated according to beta testing, why the hell is the official site not updated?

Because Blizzard is extremely fucking slow.

Wowhead has always been on top of things.

It does exactly the same thing, but is less buggy.

And Blizzard dont need to present news, they have millions of drooling fansites to do it for them.

Back when WoW first came out i started playing with nemesis and vladimer. Weve all split our own ways over time. I am on Moon Guard, i hate to RP but the quality of player is strangely better.
