If you feel like being a gimp, yeah.

any "shockadin" is likely just a healing paladin nowadays... with the +healing change

If you want to be a real Shockadin, you'll find yourself in alot of Shaman/Druid gears, and maybe dipping into cloth if you want THAT much damage. It really is gimped. Holy/Ret doesnt mix too well.

Paladins fail and are boring, do not waste your time like I did on a class clearly designed for the most retarded people on earth.
More like murlurk.

Paladins are pretty simple to play but don't underestimate their playability in PVE. I enjoyed playing paladin when running instances and such, but PvP was kind of boring. Their good for pvp to an extent but i found the pve to be much more exciting as a paladin. Mine is only level 44 so things might change between that and 70.

shockadins aren't really good at all, arena wise, and more than likely world pvp wise anyway. Sure, you can take on several warriors at once, but you can probably do that without going 21 points deep into Ret as well.

doesn't say there isn't any room to go offensive while being a healer though. if you save your divine favor, using that, holy shock, and judgement of righteous at the same time is a good 2k burst at least, maybe more. doesn't sound like a lot, but considering it comes from a healer and can be done in 1 GCD, it's a lot of damage and can win arena games.

if you want to smack people around, go ret.

Agreed, after wasting more than 6 months with a Blood Elf Paladin, I am glad I returned to my Priest.

I would agree with you on healing, but I made the switch to prot a couple months back and I'm really liking it.

You can hang out with me on Bloodscalp US PVP server. We don't play that much though, mainly friday night kara run and sometimes sunday we try ZA. We have two bosses down. If you are hardcore and want a different experience try elsewhere. :)
