You guys are walking into an impossible arguement. Someone could easily say men only pretend NOT to get clingy and emotional about sex. If you think about it though, how many douche bag guys go and sleep around, yet get all huffy puffy when one of there woman does the same thing? Is this not getting emotional/clingy about sex?

Gay men who are completely sexually promiscuous are not necessarily behaving so because they're men. Acting out of shame and sexual repression are major contributing factors. Sex is used for basically three reasons, biologically speaking: reproduction, dominance and social bonding. In my circle of queer peers, a lot of people have slept together, but it's no big drama. There are some guys who would say "omg I broke up with my boyfriend AND YOU CAN NEVER SEE OR TALK TO HIM AGAIN," but mostly that's something lesbians do. Gay guys tend towards sex and love being given freely, which can be really awesome and is way cooler than a Grindr induced fucking.

That said, dudes like getting their dick wet, and if you like guys, then you like getting dicks wet, so everyone wins.

Christ, man, tell me about it. Not that I'm capable of doing that random sex for the fun of it thing that Meng talks about, but.

So there was only pride celebration where some nut went crazy and shot at people, this seems to be progress.

Iceland is one of those places where being queer is a normal experience.

Two things about this video:
1 Lesbians actually move in with each other after 3 weeks
2 The point about the group being a constructed family is an important point to think on when considering the gay community. Most old gays had to give up their family, today many people, like myself, do not, and I view the gay community differently because that's not my experience. Hell my Grandparents walked a gay friend down the aisle in place of his parents when gay marriage was legalized in California (admittedly these are liberal jew grandparents, but they're still over 80).

Yeah the jury's still out on what exactly their motives are, but it's a nice change of pace regardless.

Although I'm 90% sure the origin story of faggot is wrong, this is a good video to explain why most gay men react negatively to the word faggot, and without preaching.

Good clip. Obviously wooden kindling is called a faggot (I remember that being in some book I read in middle school), but I don't know if thats why it became a word for gays.

I am fed up with homosexualism being thrust in our faces all the time. If two people of the same sex want to be together as friends then that seems to be a natural thing to do but to take it further into a full blown sexual relationship is totally unnatural. Quite rightly these people are referred to in any good dictionary as perverts as that is what they are. What can be natural about a man having sex with another man and a woman having sex with another woman? Genetials were evolved for one reason, procreation. The only reason that laws have been made to protect these perverts is because there are so many homosexuals in parliament, the media and other government circles who seem to have far too much influence in lawmaking. If things carry on as they are there will be more same sex couples adopting and fostering children than there are hetrosexual couples. It is an outrage. The fact that many countries still outlaw homosexual activity only means that this country, because of its soft tolerance, will be home to the perverts of the world because we do not exclude them and will not send them back.

This will stay in California if it doesn't get pushed to 9th Circuit. If it does, it might get to SCOTUS. In that case, it might be overturned. Although the optimistic are betting 5-4 with Kennedy going pro-gay.

The 9th Circuit will probably uphold Judge Vaugn's ruling, and I have optimistic feelings about SCOTUS. Given how failtastic the pro 8 crowd was with their defense/witnesses/experts (I believe George Rekers was supposed to testify) I think they'll fail to present anything resembling a reasonable case.
