Ok, the setting is clear. Bunch of reporters enters into a hot-spot with cameras (and if I recall correctly there were some AK-47 later found at the site), cameras get mistaken for RPG/whatever. Tragedy ensues. The van comes to help them. More tragedy ensues.
Ok, I can somewhat understand them wanting to kill their enemies and the whole van business.

This however I don't understand or condone.
Ethan McCord, the soldier seen in the video carrying the injured boy, recalled in an interview on The Marc Steiner Show that on arrival at the scene, "The first thing I did was run up to the van...". After attending the girl's wounds and handing her to a medic, he returned to the van to find the boy still breathing. "I grabbed him and ran to the Bradley myself." He claims he "got yelled at" for not "pulling security". "The first thing I thought of...was my children at home." He later sought help for psychological trauma, but was told that if he were to go to the mental health officer, [b]"there would be repercussions."[b]

The reality of what we expect of our soldiers is either too much for good men to bear, or not enough of a burden at all.
a particle is a thing in itself. a wave is a disturbance in something else. waves themselves are probably not disturbed.
