And since it´s top down perspective, I don´t even have to give a damn about over-draw and shit, since algorithms to prevent over-draw actually cost performance, so that if you have no far sight, it´s actually bad to have them. Same with Level of Detail systems. Shit like that. Who knows, how simple it´s gonna be. I have of course no clue right now about animation and how dificult it is to manage this shit. I´ll see, but maybe on the first release I won´t really give a damn and just go 2D implemented under the hood as 3D.

I wonder how many RBM jokes I can build into the game.

When I wake up I do so with an impossible hurt. Going to the bathroom and looking into the mirror I look impossible. Going to the fridge I eat impossible things for breakfast. So I´d figure, hell why not make one more impossible thing over the day. Can´t be that much a deal after all that.

Hey that´s cool I don´t have to give a shit about managing hard disk access. I found out about an file abstraction layer. Just need to do an Internalize and Externalize method to my implementation extensions of my abstract view classes. One point off the list.

Oh wow, that storage class system is awesome. Just have to use its methods for say, write those one thousand integers and then write those 300 booleans and then some other shit, and at the end I link those storage types together and can securely save and load at will as part of my models and views without messy low level memory access. Actually I can write whole view types and their model types as part of other views/models this way too.

I think the most annoying thing about C and similar is its Zero Error Fellacy. "Hey, when I don´t want to make a mistake, I´m not going to do any! Let´s build as many retardedly unnecessary falling traps into it as possible and reason it with performance considerations, although the performance gained with this strategy is actually laughable in 99% of all programming!" Other profesions like surgery, airlines, space agencies have overcome this fellacy decades ago. For some reason, it just doesn´t stop in programming professions.Instead making the language good by design, they think up weird methods of writing and organizing code to make the accidents less likely. And everything´s still buggy as hell. And they still think it´s a good idea.

though C# has done away with the most intolerable shit. it´s the only C-syntax language I´d consider using. Just that I hate the C syntax and don´t like too much the overall framework design of Microsoft´s .net initiative at large. But the worst framework design of all clearly goes to Java. What a convoluted shitty shit it is.

But Java´s rediculous anyway. Basing everything on classes and not supporting anything else but object orientation just makes every single shit super bloated. Overhead wherever you look. The old concept of singleton modules which Java rationalized away is just as useful and needed in many situations as modern classes. Javaware = bloatware.

hahaha.. oh man.
You know what´s funny?
First reading really high level academic software construction stuff with lot´s of philosophic and historical references, super complex sentence structures, basically expecting you to have a degree in at least four fields, and then I have The OpenGL SuperBible:SecondEdition and compared it basically reads every page in a tone of "HEY YO NIGGAS, CHECK DIS OUT!". I just can´t stop laughing through every page.

Not to say everything´s super easy, especially because I am working on an extreme niche platform and need to figure out how to cross access the GL stuff and make it draw correctly into my views. Long way to go, I´m not even firmly understanding all about the views yet. But I´m just talking about the tone in which the sentences are written. I´m not used to such "Hey you, let´s do this. Looks cool, huh?" talk, haha.

Quick Status Report: I am hammering away at everything with amazing endurance.
I proudly inform you of my latest breakthrough in evaluation methodology.

I have defined a new scientific rating nomenclature for efficiency.
The Ravian Efficiency Cockrocket:
Raging Rogers
Solid Stanley
Willing Wilson
Trying Thompson
Praying Patterson

As you can see I am hard at work revolutionizing development techniques. All my software shall henceforth display its benchmarks in this remarkably accurate way. The indicator field is called: So what´s your REC today?

RIDE - Ravian Indicator for Durability and Efficiency.
My RIDE for my highest REC.
