Alright sure, it is just WoW with Star Wars painted over top, but damn is it fun.

I'm on server Terentatek with some friends.

Can you force push fools down bottomless pits? This is important.

I'm with Kaz. A true Star Wars MMO must grant the player the ability to force shit all over the place.

The answer is yes, although Force Push is Knight/Warrior only and has a 1 minute CC. Consular/Inquisitor can Force Wave bitches off ledges too. Bottomless pits are unfortunately not terribly common though.

Trooper/Bounty Hunter is master class right now though.

Anyway, game is incredibly mediocre, but I genuinely like it anyway. So much shit needs fixed though.

Just complain about the queues for getting on your server, that should pretty much handle it for now.

Also, the space battles are on-rails and people are complaining about that, but a couple of the best Star Wars games of old were the Tie Fighter/X-Wing games and they were the same on-rails premise so I actually really like it. It is a good throw back if you ask me.

Man, I miss good epic space fighters. And yes, even the Wing Commander series, shoot me.

Wing Commander's mission hubs were so much cooler, like fifteen years ago.

Does "on rails" mean something other than what I think it means? TIE Fighter isn't a rail shooter. I don't remember a single mission where I wasn't controlling my craft's movements.

Yeah I was getting it confused with the line of these games: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Rebel_Assault and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Rebel_Assault_II:_The_Hidden_Empire. Obviously not the same at all.

Man those games were fun. I'm really trying to hold off on buying this game until February or so, to tide me over until Mass Effect 3 and Ninja Gaiden 3, but it teeeempts meeeeee.
I know the pieces fit, 'cause I watched them tumble down.

This game looks like the direct anti-thesis to Swtor. Freedom. Movement. Brawl. Finally.

If only it was made direct multiplayer, not mmo and what comes with that, eh Kaz.

From what I've seen so far of Swtor, at least that seems rpg enough to be played like singleplayer.

But of course any of that commercial crap pales compared to the Cubeworld mmo, made by one hobbyist.
