Ugh. I want the additional content in the Digital Deluxe edition, but I don't really want the soundtrack and I don't want to pay and extra 15 bucks for it. Do you think the Warden tower sidestuff will eventually be made available for free? Or should I just go all out...

I'm preloading it now, just not sure if I want to put my Jade Master Jade Empire run on hold to play it immediately, or not.

Yeah, this is awesome. I'm not sure how good my elven archer is power-wise, but I'm having too much fun seeing the story unfold to care about min/maxing at this point.

as a starving student, is it worth the purchase, or should I wait? torrent is an option, but when the game is good, I feel so dirty :(

Just torrent now and buy later. I'm in love with the game right now. I lucked out and managed to have enough to actually buy it, but had I not I would have torrented it until I could drop the cash on it.

That "dog" is horribly ugly and huge. I named mine Crower. I'm awful with names.

What's up with the gore? I kill the rats, and I'm COVERED in blood. It looks so corny and out of place, but it's also hilarious since nobody seems to notice.

I also noticed every female so far are stacked. When I saw my mom, I was like "whoa! they are huge".

I JUST got to Ostahgard (sp?), so I'm not really even past the intro yet. It's slow, but it's got Bioware's fingerprints all over the place.

I wonder what the "what a twist!" moment is going to be

Of course! It was either that or Lance.

Who else made a human woman warrior and slept with the girl at the start? Awesome. lol.

Mine was crashing to the desktop randomly and then I read in some threads on the Bioware forum to revert to older GeForce drivers and has been fine so far. Has anyone else crashed?

Is the mabari big boned? A bit on the fat side? Because in that case, the name Lance would have been totally appropriate.

Speaking of nostalgia, I heard RBM the slut's favorite team won the world series. How bout that?

Game runs absolutely flawlessly for me, not a single hang or crash at all. Running the newest nVidia drivers as well, though it could be that I'm on 7 and Vista or XP.

And the Mabari resembles nothing so much as a very large mastiff. And acts like a puppy.

I'm on 7 64bit and crash all the time and my friend has 7 64bit and no problems. It's come up as a legit issue around the internets but no idea as to why or what makes my system crash and my friend's not.

Extremely frustrating. I hope there is a solution soon.

On vista 64 and the game never crashes. The game launcher does all the time however so I can't get to whatever options it has the in-game menu lacks. Subtitles and other things, I assume.

Subtitles are in on the in-game menu, first tab in fact. they're distracting as hell since it puts them at the top though. There's no settings available outside the game that aren't available inside. There's no option for AF at all unless you enable it in the ini, and I can't find where the fuck steam put it.

And no Kant, no multiplayer at all.

I just made sweet love to Zavren or w/e his name is, and the music was beyond epic. Still laughing.

Same. Elven chanting is the new bow chicka-wow-wow.
Spoiler:
My friend tells me it's possible to get a threesome with elf guy and Leliana, I can only imagine the music they'll play then.
