Dragon Age

Postby BYC » Sun Nov 01, 2009 12:04 pm

Just finally realized it was coming out like in 2 weeks. PC or 360 version? I'm doing some research, it seems like the PC version is the one to get, being a RPG and the modding community will probably be all over it.

I can't tell what combat engine it uses so far.

Also, what extras for the Pre-Order version?

Also, it anybody overwhelmed with games out right now?

I pickedu p NBA2K10 about 2 weeks ago, playing that.
Still playing Rock Band 2, and working with Beatles Rock Band as well.
Thinking about grabbing Borderlands.
Just re-started with Team Fortress 2 again with their Halloween specials.
Dragon Age almost here.
Modern Warfare 2 almost here.
I'm still interested in Brutal Legend.
Haven't finished Fable 2, which I played up in...summer I guess.
And oh yeah, DLed 2nd episode of GTA4, Ballad of Gay Tony.

It's been a while for me at least all these games out.

After looking at the specs for Dragon Age, I might want to upgrade my PC as well.

I know it's own engine, but is it more like an action RPG, or more traditional stats based? Not sure if they have announced this information or not. I really liked Mass Effect, but the combat was pretty meh.

It's a western RPG, not action-RPG. The spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate.

Gay storyline!!!!
a particle is a thing in itself. a wave is a disturbance in something else. waves themselves are probably not disturbed.

It means steam lets you download it now and when it comes out it will "unlock" and you'll be able to play it immediately

I just finished downloading it. It's pretty big, 15.3 GB.

Apparently the origin you choose for your character gives you a completely different game for the first few hours. What other game did that besides Secret of Mana 2?

WAIT!

Ribson doesn't have to hate on you.. this time!

I'll let the game hate on you!

I command thee to play an elven mage.

Human NPC hate stares shall stare you down everywhere!

Until you hate your puny elven self.

And justice has been served.

If a certain team wins another game to win the championship, I'll more than likely be making french voodoo dolls of a certain someone and stabbing them with pins.

As far as I know, hope this is true, it is even a character in its own right, a real party member with its own ability set and conversation encounters, taking a real party slot that you then lack for humanoids, not some tacked on pet.

Yup, even the website showing the characters that can join you lists it as its own char.
