I hope bron bron makes it, so he can get swept again by the varsity teams. Let him have the MVP, it's easy to put up numbers against scrubs. Enjoy playing a sub .500 8th seed.

I thought last year's Celtics already dispelled the whole notion, that Eastern division teams are somehow less equipped just because the East isn't as deep.

Damn work keeping me away from important futbol.

When it was 2-0, I thought we had a real chance. Oh well.

Good showing after last week.

RBM, you'll be happy to know that the Indians are slaughtering the Yankees 20-2 in the 5th inning right now in their new stadium.

0-3, 34.5 ERA with 6 innings pitched, I hope Wang's season stays this awesome. Best thing going in baseball.

Not todays game, but at one point the other night I know the fans were chanting "we want Swisher" in reference to having him pitching relief. It made me giddy.

My favorite was the MLB.com heading that read "Tribe unloads on Yankee's Wang."

Only amongst Dutch keepers who've played in Manchester, perhaps.

Yes, it is a good point.

Nice to see the Evil Empire lose yesterday in FA Cup, even if it's Everton beating them...

AHHHH!

So happy.

Alex Ferguson accuses Rafa of treating Everton like a small club and then DOESNT EVEN BRING Rooney or Ronaldo. AND THEN LOSES.

I could LAUGH FOREVER.

Hell of a match yesterday, but frustrating to see defensive breakdowns once again costing us the points.

Thank God Benayoun got that last one in stoppage time.

It was not so much the defense as it was Arshavin's offense, Liverpool made a mistake by not signing him. The Chelsea - Liverpool 4-4 was incredible though; they came close twice, with Torres on a bad day and Gerrard injured.

having just watched the highlights, defensive giveaways directly led to 3 of the 4 goals scored by arshavin. So I find it hard to say it was Arshavin's ability, he didn't really have much to do to finish three of them.

At least the Reds fought back, too bad they couldn't convert one of their 13 shots in the first half.

I saw nothing of the game, but dissapointed to hear that the defense played poorly, as Dan Agger got a rare start, and I usually prefer him over Skrtel, he gives you more options to push forward. But it really is time we replaced Sammi Hyypia. He has left a huge hole that needs to be filled.

The starting line up was my dream Liverpool 11, actually our strongest team imo (No Lucas) with the obvious exception of Gerrard.

I'd like to take a moment to congratulate the Yankees on getting swept by the Sox over the weekend.

Let's talk about sports that actually matter!

Does anyone think any of the teams are actually gonna be able to beat Luongo this year?

Having been at Verizon center where the Caps beat the Islanders in Game 7, I have to honestly say out of all the sporting events I've been to that it was probably one of the single greatest times I've ever had. Helluva game, and the fans were going nuts.

If the Caps end up playing the Bruins it's going to be very hard for me to pick a side :/

I'm gonna be a boston fan from now and start cheering at players who flagrant foul layups causing the opponent to bleed for several minutes. After all, the NBA won't punish them for it, I mean, it's boston!

I want to be a boston celtic, get real bulked up, score 0 points, grab 0 rebounds, and just go out there and beat people up until I get tossed.

Fucking celtics, classless.

Hrm, now that I think about it, if I was Doc Rivers right now I would be VERY afraid to play Paul Pierce right now. Chicago knows they can't win a game seven in Boston, wasn't done last year, won't be done this year, so they will probably just go out there to inflict as much damage to the boston players as possible, then lose with a smirk on their face, knowing that they paved the way for Cleveland to beat a D league team.
