Webcomic Compendium: Don't enter if you have things to do

Big List Of Comics...

The Perry Bible Fellowship
A series of self-contained comics that pretty much cover the entire spectrum of deep to shallow, light humor to dark humor, and real to bizzare.

8-Bit Theater
The wacky adventures of the Heroes of Light, who in reality are a fighter, thief, red mage, and black mage that each could be diagnosed as insane, portrayed in classic Final Fantasy graphics.

Dominic Deegan: Oracle For Hire
Pun-filled, updated daily most of the time, talking cat included.

girly
Completely insane adventures of a girl and her sidekick (ie lesbian couple.) Includes cat from Hell.

SORETHUMBS™
*Needs some love! Description required*

The Devil's Gate
Space travel and a the ever-popular big-boobed, bad-ass, female protagonist archetype. Relatively short; first story arc is as yet incomplete.

Exiern
*Needs some love! Description required*

Marilith
Big-boobed, bad-ass, female assassin protagonist seeks to retire but instead has zany adventures involving lots of bullets when arch-rival shows up.

misfile
Amusing manga about God fuck ups in heaven.

Candi
Emo story about a girl named Candi.

Ctrl+Alt+Del (CAD)
Soap opera about geeks. Crazy geeks.

Penny Arcade
The best dork humor around.

Applegeeks
It has a Mac robot with tits!

Mac Hall
Fantastic story about a couple of art students.

Giant in the Playground™
Story about a group of misfit adventurers in a D&D 3.0 setting.

Basic Instructions
A comic by Scott Meyer. Still being written as of August 2009. Still pretty fresh after several years.

VG Cats
The hijinx of two cats that intersperse themselves in a variety of video game worlds, and the hilarity that ensues when they interact.

Dinosaur Comics
An identically-paneled comic where three dinosaurs wax philosophically, try to teach a lesson, talk to God/Satan, or pointlessly bicker.

Least I Could Do
The day-to-day life of Rayne, a ladies man that can only be described as "living outside of the box", and his friends.

Cyanide and Happiness
Some are hilarious. Some are retarded. Some are just damn weird.

xkcd
Warning: this comic occasionally contains strong language (which may be unsuitable for children), unusual humor (which may be unsuitable for adults), and advanced mathematics (which may be unsuitable for liberal-arts majors).

Looking For Group (Created by the same people as Least I Could Do)
A group of misfit adventurers in a WoW setting containing the most diabolically hilarious character I have ever seen, Richard the Warlock (some favorite quotes include "You all saw it! That orphanage attacked me!", his animated short parodying the Little Mermaid, "Slaughter Your World", and of course the originator of the classic "blows-head-off-gnome-then-uses-hand puppet-to-talk-for-rest-of-body.".)

minus.
My imagination whenever I'm happy.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal
My imagination whenever I'm pretending to be happy.

WhiteNinja comics
The thrice-a-week adventures of a ninja put into random situations with whimsically humorous results.

"Breakfast of the Gods: Book I, the Last Good Morning"
The greatest story ever told--with cereal mascots.

a softer world
Doesn't tell any sort of story but rather is a self-contained story in three panels. It's got funny stuff, sad stuff, sweet stuff, and angry stuff. It's got the good stuff.

Questionable Content
Indie rock, romance, OCD and robots. Puns galore and has a spiffy array of shirts in the store.

Sam & Fuzzy
Misadventures of Sam and his psychopathic bear companion, fuzzy. Sam was a taxi driver.

Orneryboy
Random encounters of a grumpy prick and his animal loving girlfriend, with their pet zombie. Generally has a story arc involving Ornery and Brian, the zombie, doing shit while trying to hide it from Dirtygirl.

Trials and Tribulations of Mr. Anthrax
A deep look into the musings of a madman.

The Adventures of Dr. McNinja
A serial comic where a ninja who also practices medicine, along with his gorilla receptionist Judy, his Mexican raptor-riding, gun-slinging, handlebar-mustache-wielding sidekick Gordito, and his raptor Yoshi, takes on robots, other ninjas, pirates, and his old mentor in the doctoring arts, Ben Franklin II.

Last Blood
After zombies take over the Earth, vampires must protect the last surviving humans so they can live off their blood.

WHERE IS THE PERRY BIBLE FELLOWSHIP.

http://pbfcomics.com/
I know the pieces fit, 'cause I watched them tumble down.
No fault, none to blame; it doesn't mean I don't desire
To point the finger, blame the other, watch the temple topple over
To bring the pieces back together, rediscover communication.

Since I just read them, here's a couple of your missing descriptions.

The Devil's Gate:
Space travel and a the ever-popular big-boobed, bad-ass, female protagonist archetype. Relatively short; first story arc is as yet incomplete.

Marilith:
Big-boobed, bad-ass, female assassin protagonist seeks to retire but instead has zany adventures involving lots of bullets when arch-rival shows up.

Legorobot
Created in Paint to the lowest of standards, offensive and pointless, and it makes you laugh when you really shouldn't.

Gone With the Blastwave
The daily lives of a group soldiers who are fighting a post apocalyptic war in a city they can't get out of.

PBF definitely deserves it. VG cats and xkcd are my second and third nominations.

I just read all of this webcomic called Gunnerkrigg Court and it's so fucking awesome I may have to kill the author and steal his soul. Somewhere between Bones, Harry Potter and Pan's Labyrinth lies Gunnerkrigg Court, and the only problem I have with it is that there isn't more to read.

Chapter 11 was amazing.

EDIT: and the Coyote character(chap 14) is awesome, both his "body language" and his dialogue

FreakAngels. It's a free webcomic by Warren Ellis. For those who know who that is, that's all you need to know. Everyone else, you just need to know that this webcomic is made of pure awesome. Post-apocalyptic London, except most stuff isn't completely destroyed and there's water everywhere. Somehow 13 young men and women, the Freak Angels, are responsible. They're all pale skinned and purple eyed, and they're devoted to making amends for whatever they did. A beautiful story with great art ensued. The story is still in progress, and a new chapter is published each week.

Rice Boy
Bang Barstal

Both are pretty weird, finished, and were very fun to read.
